• With a quick look on our controversial buying platform of the century you will find DOQAUS Wireless Headphones within the top suggestions of “Bluetooth Over Ear Headphones” but are they worth it?

The market it full of big names but that doesn’t mean a smaller brand doesn’t deserve a chance. After testing the headphones for a solid year, well here is one opinion.

TLDR: This is a solid choice for a budget headphone perfect for commute, relaxed gaming or other casual audio needs.

    Pricing:

Lets not beat around the bush, the price is solid; coming in at under $60 the headphones fulfil all the promises and are a solid budget option.

    Audio:

If you are a audiophile this product probably was never on your Wishlist and I don’t think it ever will be, however for an an everyday user the headphones deliver a solid performance. The sound is crisp, the bass is strong and honestly there is no complaints on your day to day playlist. The headphones are not soundproof but if you are trying to listen to something on the side, one ear on is still preferred.

    Bluetooth & Charging:

The device is equipped with 5.0, the headphones pair fast and after pairing connect quickly to your most recent used device with in turning on. The range is solid within a tested 10 feet (yes I got out my tape measure), and will reconnect quickly if you have been out of range. The battery life promise is 90 hours, while we cannot attest to that promise as we require sleep the headphones have not failed us after multiple day use on one charge. If you are old school the headphones do come with an 3.5mm audio cable, that can also be used when battery on the headphones is running low.

    Comfort and Design:

We have purchased two pairs of the headphones, Black and Green. While the black have held up over the year the green one has shown major colour fallout on the band, surprisingly the undercoat was just a darker green (so if you would like to use a nail polish to strip the remaining finish it would not be a huge distraction from the design).

For the fit, well those with a smaller head should be careful. While the headphones do fit and will remain on your head, leaning back will cause them to fall off and don’t you think about dancing in them to your favourite Spotify playlist. Those with an average head may carry on without much thought although if you are super active not recommended but will stay on during your regular weight lifting gym sesh.

    Verdict: Rating 4/5

    Solid choice for:

    Commuters & casual listeners

    Student and remote workers

    Casual gamers & bingers

    Not Ideal:

    -Audiophiles seeking premium, sound

    -Noise Cancelling Needs
